Co-founders John and Sandy Hovey have been in the lighting industry since 2012 and have led successful businesses earlier in their careers.

Authorized Distributors of Pathogen Control Technologies
In 2020, our JSB team became an authorized Canadian distributor of UV Angel pathogen control technologies. Our experience in the custom commercial lighting industry, combined with our relationships with installation teams across Canada, made our transition into UV-C systems (for air and surface pathogen control) a natural next step.
UV Angel products are solidly backed by years of research and testing on ceiling mounted UV-C air purification technology producing multiple peer reviewed published papers in reputable journals (American Journal of Infection Control and the Canadian Journal of Infection Control) proving the efficacy of its application. We are excited to represent this product in Canada, especially in the current environment. We need to prepare ourselves for the future as well and are confident the UV Angel products will be a mainstay in public buildings.
Our partner distribution team has been working with Dr. John Conly, CM, MD installing this technology at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Conly is a medically trained specialist in infectious diseases and a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Advisory Group on Integrated Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance. As a result of their work with him, he has recommended installing these units wherever Aerosol Generating Medical Procedures (AGMP) are conducted and, as a result, the technology has been installed in the Foothills COVID ward. He has also recommended the technology for the Tissue Transplant area to ensure the cleanest environment possible. Installation has just been completed in this area as well.
